SELF-EMPOWERED HEALTH QIGONG/TAI CHI has
classes and various trainings to suit many different needs,
schedules, and budgets.  Our goal is to touch as many peoples
lives as possible by teaching these simple practices.  We have
beginning, intermediate, and advanced exercises.  For our

Below are brief descriptions of some of the options and
services

tools to improve your health:
"4 MINUTE FITNESS" CLASS

"4 Minute Fitness" is a unique and simple set of five easy to learn
movements which provides the benefits of  Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga,
meditation, and modern motivational techniques.  "4 Minute Fitness"
is a complete mind-body wellness program which is gentle enough
to be done by everyone (it can even be done sitting).  Benefits
include increased balance and flexibility, improved immune functions,
and an increased sense of relaxation, peace, and mental focus.  By
combining gentle stretching, deep breathing, relaxation, and
motivational techniques into one concentrated system, the benefits of
all these tools are intensified (this is called "Layered Practice"). All
these benefits just from practicing five simple movements for just 4
minutes a day!

We offer this three hour program periodically at various locations for
individuals (click on the page,
 "classes" ).  It serves as an excellent
introduction to the principles of Qigong and Tai Chi, gives a
foundation for safe individual practice, and teaches five easy to learn
movements that can be done anytime, anywhere.  This is ideal for
equipping your employees with a powerful mind-body wellness
program without a lot of investment into equipment, facilities, time,
or money.  An optional video or DVD is available for participants as
an aid in memorization or individual at-home practice.

For staff trainings, this three hour session can be done in one day or
broken into segments.  Price for program varies based upon the

"INTEGRAL TAI CHI"

"Integral Tai Chi" is a simplified Tai Chi form designed by Dr. Roger
Jahnke to teach Tai Chi fundamentals and provide a "therapeutic"
and health-focused (as opposed to "martial") set of easy to learn
exercises.  Integral Tai Chi is not a "new" Tai Chi form, rather it is a
set of traditional movements performed without complicated
footwork.  Besides the health and relaxation benefits, it is a great
way to introduce beginning students to the fundamentals of Tai Chi,
equipping them to proceed to more formal or traditional Tai Chi
forms if they desire.  Integral Tai Chi can be taken as a class or
given as a staff training.  A minimum of six to eight hours is required
to learn this easy Tai Chi form. This can be broken into smaller
segments for corporate and organizational trainings.  Feel free to

"VITALITY METHOD"

"Vitality Method" is a traditional Chinese Medical Qigong that is an
incredibly mild, yet profound healing tool.  Many of the seven
Qigong movements within this series of exercises are practiced daily
by literally millions of Chinese people.  It is particularly good for
stimulating the circulation of lymph, which has been shown to be one
of the most important elements of our bodies immune system.  It is
also helpful for dealing with digestive disorders.  It  includes gentle
stretching, deep diaphragmatic breathing, and basic self-massage.  
This is a great Medical Qigong practice for beginners and for those
who are in need of a strong Medical Qigong to help deal with existent
medical issues.  It is also excellent for older people, those in medical
facilities, and can be adapted to students who have reduced mobility.
This whole series of movements takes approximately 15  to 20
minutes to complete.  The training takes at least three hours,
preferably more, broken into segments.  If the students are elderly or
have physical limitations, it is not advisable to have each segment
exceed 45 minutes.  Review of previously learned exercises is done
before each new session to aid in memorization.  Call or email us for

"MARROW WASHING"

"Marrow Washing" is a very popular Medical Qigong in China.  
Centuries ago Chinese physicians seemed to know intuitively that
our immune system and overall health was intimately tied into the
health of our bone marrow.  Now Western science has determined
that the vast majority of our immune cells and blood cells are
actually created in the bone marrow.  This Medical Qigong was
developed to direct our bio-electrical energy to the marrow of our
skeletal system in order to cleanse our marrow of toxins,
strengthen our immune system, strengthen the density of the bones
and marrow, and circulate Qi through the skin along the various
acupuncture points and meridians.  It is a powerful and effective
Medical Qigong.  Best of all, it is tremendously relaxing and
soothing.  These Qigong exercise movements are easy to learn, but
take a focused amount of concentration.  This would be classified
as being a beginner to intermediate level Qigong practice.
If taught as a seminar or in a corporate setting, the total time would
take approximately three hours.  With a group of people with
overall good health and endurance, this could be done in one
session.  If the physical abilities of the group is mixed, it is
recommended it be broken into three sessions.   
"TENDON CHANGING"

"Tendon Changing" is a traditional Chinese Medical Qigong which is
an advanced practice.  Historically, there are numerous variations.  
This particular form is designed to have a beneficial effect on the
bodies' connective tissue, including the tendons. This Qigong form is
believed to have beneficial effects for our flexibility and in preventing
carpal tunnel syndrome.  This is offered only as an advanced class
and cannot be taught as a business or corporate training seminar.
